Places of interest include Wells, Walsingham and Blakeney. There are several National Trust and heritage properties, and beautiful gardens and water gardens close by e.g. Holkham Hall. The Queen’s holiday home in Sandringham is an hour’s drive away, so too the famous Norfolk Broads.

Sheringham has a host of many varied and interesting shops, and plenty of tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. It is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, the Poppy Line, that run regular trips from Sheringham to Weybourne and into the Georgian town of Holt.

There are two heritage museums – The Mo and The Lifeboat Station with RNLI activities and Peter Coke’s Shell Museum all within five minutes walk. Sheringham Little Theatre in the middle of the town features concerts, films and a lively Summer Repertory Season. The Splash Leisure Centre offers a wave pool and a giant water slide.
